OVERWEIGHT TRIATHLON CHALLENGE
We here at SBR Multisports believe that triathlon is a type of therapy. Triathlon can be therapy for anyone, not just the fit or athletic. A day rarely goes by when we don't hear a story about how triathlon has truly enhanced and bettered someone's life. We realize that there are many people who aspire to train and compete in this amazing sport, but never have. This year, we've decided to give two people the opportunity to change their lives through triathlon. Margaret Bravo and Michael Nelson have been selected to take part in our Overweight Triathlon Challenge - a challenge that will require the duo to lose over 200lbs and drastically alter their current lifestyles while training to compete in the Ironman Florida in November 2006. Margaret and Michael will be provided with constant training, nutritional guidance and all the triathlon gear they need to successfully train and compete. We hope the SBR community welcomes these two dedicated people and encourages them throughout their next year of training.
