Shipping

Due to the constant change in shipping rates we at SBR try to get you the best and least expensive way of shipping, while upholding all the best standards in shipping the product safely to your home. Most orders, unless out of stock items or special orders, will ship the same day if ordered prior to 3pm EST. Orders being shipped via the US Postal Service will ship out by the end of the week.

It’s a little weird looking, but even though the website says we use UPS as our shipping company, we actually use DHL.

Oh yeah, 2-Day means 2 business days, and Next-Day means next business day, and of course same day means same day. This means that something shipped by Next-Day air on a Friday is going to get there the following Monday. Saturday delivery is available for an additional $15 fee; please contact shipping@sbrshop.com for more details.

We offer same day delivery on the island of Manhattan at a flat $20 charge. If the order is more then $300, It's free same day delivery.

In order to protect our customers, SBR Multisports reserves the right to ship packages with a signature required. DHL may require a signature even if we request otherwise. For example, if you live in an apartment without a doorman. If this is a concern, be sure to deliver to an address where someone will be around to sign. One more thing, if for some reason your package is really, really big, or really, really heavy we may email you a quote for shipping that differs from the numbers above. We won't ship your order until we get your approval. The only thing we ask is to give your DHL driver a really, really big hug.

Shipping to P.O. Boxes:

Shipping to a Military (APO, FPO) Address:

We love the military; actually our boss man is ex-SF so we are all more than happy to ship to APO and FPO addresses thanks to our good friends at the US Postal Service. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii:

DHL 2nd Day and Next Day Air shipping options are available to residents of Alaska and Hawaii. Because ground shipping is very expensive to Alaska and not offered at all to Hawaii, SBR uses the (much less expensive) US Postal Service Priority Mail for regular shipments to these two states.

All domestic Priority Mail is sent with Delivery Confirmation which allows you to track your package.

Shipping to Canada:

SBR uses the US Postal Service to ship to Canada because it is generally the cheapest way to go. We use only USPS Express Mail for our Canadian post, because this is the only international service offered by the USPS which can be tracked. Express mail to Canada usually takes between 3-5 business days, not including time spent in customs.

Express Mail automatically includes $100 of insurance coverage. More insurance can be purchased at very low rates; please email us at shipping@sbrshop.com for more information.

Express Mail is the highest quality service the USPS offers and therefore it is also the most expensive. If you really must have a cheaper shipping fee to get your stuff to Canada, we can send it by Priority Mail which is slower and less expensive. This is at your own risk however, because international Priority Mail CANNOT BE TRACKED. Duties and taxes on international orders will be assessed by local officials and billed to you separately. Please contact your customs office for information on duties, taxes and restricted items.

We are pleased to offer our mail order and online shopping services to members and customers around the world. We prefer American Express. If you use Visa, MasterCard or Discover, you must write the name and phone number of the bank that issued your credit card in the Special Instructions box for security purposes. If you would like to return something from your order for a refund or exchange, here’s how to do it:

• Make sure the product is unused, with the tags still on it, and still in re-sellable condition.
• Returns/exchanges must be submitted within 30 days of the date of purchase (the date on the receipt).
• A few things are final sale by law (sorry!)

• Include a note in the box saying something like “Hi, I’d like to exchange this size medium cycling jersey for a size large” or “Hi, I’d like to return this cycling jersey; please refund my credit card” or “Hi, I’d like to return this cycling jersey for store credit.”
• BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE RECEIPT!
• ALSO INCLUDE AN EMAIL/PHONE NUMBER WHERE WE CAN REACH YOU! This way, we can confirm the transaction. We also might have to contact you for your credit card information to process a refund or to ship an exchange. Our online software deletes the card info after about a month for security purposes.
• Shipping fees are non-refundable.
• If you are returning an item for exchange, you will have to pay shipping for that item (even if you didn’t pay shipping the first time).

Promotional Gift Certificates

SBR Multisports promotional gift certificates and other discounts are not redeemable for cash. As a result, we can only refund the amount that was charged to a customer's credit card.

Damaged/Defective Items

SBR Multisports is committed to selling only first-quality, name-brand sports apparel and gear. We do not sell factory seconds, irregulars, or special-ordered lower quality products. We offer only the best brand names and the highest quality goods. To that end, we employ several quality checks before an item leaves our warehouse. If you have received a damaged or defective item, please contact our Customer Service Department. We will be more than happy to assist you with a replacement (if it is available), or a credit (if necessary).

Damaged Products

SBR loves you and we appreciate that you chose us over the many other online retailers out there. We always handle your packages with the utmost care. However, we cannot hand deliver everything to you and therefore we entrust your gear to carriers like DHL and the USPS. In the rare and unfortunate situation of an item damaged in transit, please understand that we have specific procedures that you need to follow in order for you to get your product replaced or your money refunded. First, if the package is delivered to you with obvious damage to the box, you have the option to refuse delivery. It will then be delivered back to us and we can do a faster job of fixing the situation. If you find damage after you open the box, call us immediately at 212-399-3999 x207. We will contact the delivery company and file a damage claim. Save all boxes and packing material for inspection by the freight carrier. Don’t take it for a test ride or try to fix it. Once a claim for damaged product is filed with the carrier, a claim number is generated. While the claim is in review, it may take up to 60 days for them to finish the claim process. Please do not take the claim or refund process into your own hands. That means do not contact the manufacturer, request a chargeback on your credit card, or try to file your own claim with the shipper. This will only confuse and delay any progress. Please call us when you need assistance in resolving a damage claim. We want this to be as painless as possible. Theses situations do happen and we are experienced in resolving damage claims.
